Neighborly cookies

What happens when you live in an awesome place, but happens to be in an old building that still uses fuses? Blow a fuse so that you can meet your neighbors. In an attempt to super multi-task the other day, that is exactly what I did.

Brian went knocking on the neighbor’s door to find out exactly how one changes a fuse. No, not flip a breaker. Actually, change a fuse.

Since they were so nice, I baked them some chocolate chip cookies. Nothing super fancy, but just some standard cookies. Delicious and buttery.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375F.

Put all ingredients except flour and chocolate chips in bowl.

Cream together.

Stir in flour, then chocolate chips.

Scoop into small spoonfuls on to greased sheet.

Bake 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
