DIY popsicles

The dog days of summer are here. The best way to survive them is to revert to childhood when they didn’t bother you so much and do things like spend the day at the pool and eat popsicles. Delicious popsicles.

Watermelon popsicles:

Blend 2 cups watermelon, squeeze of lime juice and 1/2 tsp of splenda until liquefied. Pour into popsicle molds. Freeze. Eat.

Strawberries and cream:

Combine about 2 cups sliced strawberries with 1/2 cup non-fat greek yogurt and 1/4 cup skim milk in a food processor or blender. Pulse until strawberries are in small chunks. Spoon or pour into popsicle molds. Freeze. Eat.

These are creamy but tart, because I didn’t add any sweetener. They are great treat for after working out, because of the protein from the greek yogurt.
