I love a balsamic reduction on omelets and salads when we go out to eat, but had never attempted it at home. I assumed that it had to be complicated.
Oh boy, do I feel like a moron. It was so easy.
I was just making it to use on a caprese salad for Brian and I, so I didn’t need much.
Take 1 cup of balsamic vinegar. Put in a small sauce pan. Bring to a simmer. Let simmer 10-20 minutes until reduced by half or to desired thickness.
